Agreed. TheCW has at least one more year left for original content just like WB/UPN did before they closed their doors in May. But it's funny that it was 15 year anniversary for WB/UPN closing just 3 months ago and here we are.

By the sound of it not much is going to change:

UPN and the WB were so much better than the CW.
My understanding is that this Nextstar doesn't exactly have it's own programming lined up so it kind of has to rely on the Warners stuff.

In my opinion, the CW shows are mostly played out anyway. Superman and Lois is pretty much the only thing that's building up right now. Flash HAS to be winding down... it's been metaphorically running in place for at least 3 seasons now. Legends has become a parody of itself... Black Lightning, Supergirl and Supernatural are all finished. There was a time when probably 70% of my favorite shows were all on CW, but they've either finished or grown stale and not much has come out to replace them.
If this season was the end for everything on CW... Superman and Lois is the only one I'd really 'miss'.
You said it best.
The writing of these shows are barely above fan fiction level. It temporarily satiates people's craving for more superheroes on screen but it's certainly not the best version of these character and most are not even close to being the best adaptation of a DC character.
If the Arrow-verse does end, I’ll miss unabashed wacky nonsense like this:
