Yeah, so first: Ben Reilly did not appear in Kaine's Scarlet Spider series alive, so there's that. To be honest, the only real evidence that some writers have given us regarding Ben's status is a tube in one of Norman Osborn's labs with the initials "B.R." labeled on it; this was shown in, I think, an issue of Dark Avengers.
Wait is this a real thing? Wow, I can accept that. Ben still exists! Yay!
I'm looking at CBR and specifically this thread, in a way that I need to, to in a way in which I can be productive within this objective.
If that's the way you want to perceive this place you are entitled to that.
I think of it as a place to exchange ideas in a productive and civilized manner, but there are people within this party who don't want to be productive and after I attempt to reason with them and explain that I would prefer if they engage in a productive discussion, if they don't want to be productive then I exercise my prerogative to ignore them.
At the end of the day, even if I am a guest, I STILL don't have to let someone interrupt a private discussion of my creation. I can still choose to ignore them and encourage the other guests engaged in that same discussion to do the same. These people who don't respect my private discussion are still free to wander around the rest of the party and talk to other people, but I don't have to allow them to interrupt my discussion.
I imagine if you were doing a project and someone kept on interrupting you, you might tell them that you would prefer to talk about this in a different place, but for the time being to please allow you to work on your project, being polite, civilized, respectful but firm in your statement.
The problem here is that these aren't private discussions. This is a public forum.
