New Spider-Man Villain

My friend was asking me about a new Spider-Man villain named Widow (I think). He was saying that she is supposed to have been bitten by the same radioactive spider. I've been looking and can't find any info on her. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm not too versed in Spider-Man.

I think your friend was referring to Silk she was the girl bitten by the same radioactive Spider in the upcoming story tie-ing into Original Sin. We don't know much about her yet except based on the preview of Issue 2 she apparently has organic webbing coming out of her finger and likes to watch old tapes of Spider-Man fighting bad guys.

Her name is Silk, and we don't know much of anything about her right now, apart from what we've read in interviews like this one. She has a fleeting cameo in the recent Amazing Spider-Man #1, and it looks like she'll feature more prominently in next week's #2.

I think you mean Silk. She is (retroactively) bitten by the same spider that bit Peter in the split second before it died. They announced that she will be introduced in the Spidey tie-in for Original Sin.

So she'll be Peter's latest obsessive stalker now that he's single, as I don't see Peter ever truly being with Anna as she loves Spock not PP personality, and even MJ wont take him back?
