Yes that was one great thing about Smallville except I would have liked Cain someone other than Vandal Savage like a veteran reporter who occasionally teamed up with Lois until Clark joined DP

That would've been interesting. or they should've waited to bring on Cain for like say Season 8 when Clark started working at the DP.
