I honestly have no problem if Dr Doom is executed along with Wanda.
I honestly have no problem if Dr Doom is executed along with Wanda.
I'd be fine with the storyline, because it would heavily feature Wanda and she is awesome.
But the question is not "would you enjoy a Wanda-centric trial story where she gets rightly acquitted and everyone sees how wonderful she is?" It's "should she go back to being banned from the Avengers until such time as she stands trial?" And of course the answer is no. The answer to any question about my favorite character is "what will get her the most amount of panel time?"
The same can be said about CC.
Everyone was there when Doom made his revelation, Emma didn't make any objection about it, neither did she about the memories Wanda recovered.
Everything was authentic.
If it's Doc Samson, or any professional familiar and working with the superhuman community, quite the contrary.
The court could also ask for the support of an expert in the domain of "possession", I'd think Voodoo would be the most appropriate candidate.
Only then they could have a clearer picture imo.
They have no authority to do so I'm afraid.
More likely, Wanda would be escorted out of the court by Matt Murdock and She-Hulk after being proven innocent.

I don't understand why an apparent Dr Doom fan is trying to have Dr Doom take credit for Wanda's genocide
Didn't the Scarlet Witch just appear in Amazing X-me helping Pixie with her magical powers?
Seems the X-men don't have much of a problem with her again.
Kurt doesn't, but in the following issue Northstar yells at Kurt for inviting Wanda to the school, and Pixie seems uncomfortable at first about working with her ("But isn't she evil?").
So some of the X-Men are still annoyed at her, but not like "oh my god, a dangerous genocidal monster is on our school grounds" annoyed, just to the extent of grumbling that Nightcrawler invited someone who they were taught for years to think of as the Decimator of mutantkind. Even though they now know it wasn't really her fault, you can see why some of them still wouldn't trust her.
She-Hulk and Matt Murdock are on speed-dial with Avengers Tower, Wanda would be prepared just fine.
Doom would not bow down to the subpoena imo.
He would probably decide to show up unannounced in the middle of the court instead, because he is that flamboyant a character.
Probably to make the point that no one can summon him, he just do what he wants...
