I'd like you to understand what "possessed" means for characters in comics (since it's a common plot point), especially since there's a high chance a character you like has been possessed a time or two, but there seems to be something blocking that.

Ok wasn't the reason they decided not to give her a trail, because that would've look terrible PR-wise for all mutants? If she had gone on trial, it would basically have been like saying: "Look everyone - another mutant went batty and mucked up the whole world. Aren't they a swell people?"

That's different from the X-Men absolving her of guilt.

I think it was falcon who called her demented. But Rogue and Vision set it up.
