I think that's the year we were all there together. Rally & BB got married in 2004...so that next summer sounds right.

So odd to see lots of folks without avatar.

Feels like we're watching a shaved Joe Rice. Strange, but oddly compelling. I was tempted to go by my real name, but I gave this handle another shot.

So, news from the past few days here: Easter break ended, we're having record heat (106.7, with thermal sensation of 118º, ugh!). We've had power shortages the past 3 days (thank God for our emergency power plant) due to energy overload and today's is due to a busted transformer (not the Michael Bay kind) and I'm sure my power bill is going to be astronomic. But frakkk the heat.

My 10 year old daughter had a major infection, which kept us awake for the past 3 days. She had 106-107 degrees fever and headaches, so we took her to 2 hospitals and consulted with 3 doctors. After urine and blood analysis, it turned out to be a big urinary tract infection. She's now under the right antibiotics and she's been fever-free since 10pm last night.

We have tomorrow and monday off, but the powers that be decided not to give us Friday off. It sucks, but hey, whaddayagonnado?

So, how's everything?

Glad your daughter is feeling better, we are on vacation this week, so of course it is raining.

I was able to register okay, but Cheryl didn't get the e-mail link to complete the process. She can get in, it shows her as registered, but she can't post yet.

We finally figured out how to complete my registration through his laptop.

Snark isn't on FB but I do have her e-mail. If she isn't back in 24hrs I'll send her a message.

Sounds like a plan.
