Not much to appreciate since she's joined GotG. I did like the limited series I read when she was with McFarlane, written by Gaiman, I think.

She's being written by Aaron and Ewing next, so I'm quite confident that this will be good.

Some more Joe Q Angela talk, nothing new but I love his clear fondness for the character:

THOR shouldn't like that. Not one bit.

The Norse gods had a SERIOUS problem with incest. The Vikings considered incest an unforgivable sin. An instantaneous "Go Directly to Helheim" pass.
Though much is taken, much abides; and though
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are,
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

That is why sometimes I think the writers need to do more of there research on Norse mythology. Mostly because the Vanir and Asgardian family trees are needlessly tangled when there was never that kind of thing in the original myths. Although the Vanir were actually more accepting of incest than the Ansgarfians.
