Angie is simply awesome and I just love the way her character has been sketch Though I am not a huge admirer of spawn costume but this is fun.

I wanna ditch the logical... don't let me let you go...., living for the only thing i know, hanging by a moment... nom nom coffee nom nom tea.
So, how do we like Angela's updated costume? I like it quite a bit:

It's good. Not perfect, but good. It's kind of modern-day Witchblade looking in appearance. It's definitely much better than her old "battle bikini" looking.
I'm reminded of Sif, when I see Angela.
Angela's book has been something of a disappointment for me. I'm not getting good feel for her character (though the team has a good handle on Sera) and, now that I've seen it in action, I really, really dislike the new costume. IMO she looks too severe and bird-like and the seemingly rushed art in the last issue only magnifies this. Hopefully it's temporary and the original will return.
I'm in for the duration though.
Quick Angela question:
Why is she "Assassin of Asgard"?
I get Loki as "Agent of Asgard", even the proposed but unused "Valkyrie: Maiden of SHIELD" sub-title.
But why/how is Angela "Assassin of Asgard"? Historically the character, an Angel from Heaven hunted Hellspawn but wasn't quite an assassin. I guess "Angel of Asgard" was too repetitive?
Is it meant to represent her enmity for her Asgardian origins? She wants to kill Asgard? I can't imagine that she will be an Assassin on BEHALF of Asgard...
Angela looking great in Marvel's forthcoming mobile game, Future Fight
In retrospect, McFarlane should have bought the rights to Angela from Neil Guiman because she was a very good foil from Spawn...
And her initial designs are so much better than Marvel's handiwork...
I instantly fell in love with Angela (not literally you perverts!) when she came into the Marvel Universe even though I didn't know who the character was.
She's right up my alley: huge powerset, violent, and a very comic-booky design.
I just recently picked up her series (been wanting to do that since issue #1, but we all make mistakes sometimes :-P), and it was much better than I'd anticipated - even with the inclusion of Hollywood darlings Guardians of the Galaxy making and appearance.
I hope I'll enjoy 1602: Witch Hunter Angela.
I'm enjoying the Angela series. It also really hammers home how bad the Bendis GotG is. I don't even like Fraction that much, but his Guardians dialogue is miles ahead of anything ol' Bendy gives them. I really hope GotG has a new writer after Secret Wars, and I wouldn;t complain if it was Fraction. He at least loves 80s tunes as much as Peter Quill.
