Well, my fears were confirmed today: Spider-Man 2099 is cancelled to make way for Secret Wars 2099.

Hopefully SM:2099 makes it to issue 12.
What a bummer, loved this book.

loved this book too. i thought it was selling well?
is it proper cancelled? or just “event cancelled”?
Sigh...
The already had a 2099 world set up, and to my recollection there were NO avengers in that world. With all the fun characters that we haven't seen in years.. that could have been PERFECT to bring back for an event like this... Instead we get NEW characters...
What a waste...
it will be back after secret was. It's selling well, and this month, Marvel is releasing a third TPB of the original series. They know Miguel is selling. And they know Peter David is the man to write him.
I hope this will move Miguel to 2099 in the future. I'm not that interested in reading about Miguel in the post OMD Spider-man.
I was kinda on the fence when the new series was announced, because it didn't take place in 2099, and we wouldn't get to see his supporting cast. But PD manages to make it entertaining, and the family drama with Tiberius is really interesting.
lol new #1 after secret wars...then hopefully NO more new #1s....as they claim this will be ALL-NEW Marvel!!!! Its new and improved! LoL...
Pull List:
DC: Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Action Comics, Detective Comics, Green Lanterns, The Flash, Aquaman, Titans, Justice League, HJATGL, Supergirl, Superwoman, DC Bombshells
Marvel: CANCELLED (good luck with your seasonal approach and constant reboots... I'll miss the characters though)
Zenescope: Grimm Fairy Tales
Wonder if Secret Wars will remember the Chronos Corps.
Earth-X is missing Venom and 2099 is missing Doom.
