Mechagodzilla III, MOGUERA and the Gotengo defend the Pacific Rim

So, the UN finally ran out of money and all the Jaegers were scrapped, and the pilots let go. Out of nowhere here comes Japan and the Anti-G forces, who proclaim "ah, leave it to us. We've had your problem for bloody decades, leave it to us."

They send three machines: the Gotengo, Mechagodzilla III, and MOGUERA, together with their relevant personnel(which means two pilots for Kiryu, with one in reserve) to Shanghai where they'll start ripping into Kaiju coming out of the portal as they come.

Can the Anti-Godzilla forces do a better job?

They seem to have a firepower edge in one on one's. However, the number of kaiju seemed to be exponentially accelerating and they could be swarmed. That was the problem discovered by the scientists.

yeah, the firepower of those three has a better edge. Though it would be a while before Kaiju's made to adapt to such machines comes around or they finally said screw it and swarm them.

...I'm reminded how both the Japanese government and the United Nations of the Godzilla verses are insane yet kind of justified when it came to Kaiju defenses (Super Xs, Mecha-Godzillas, MOGUERA, Maser cannons, Mutants, Gotengo-like flying battle ships, etc...), especially given the threat levels.

Makes you wonder what if the Pacific Rim verse said screw budget and gave Pan Pacific Defense the full reins?

RE: swarming, it would be worthy to note that there are _TWO_ Absolute Zero weapons in play here; Kiryu's, and the Gotengo's. The Gotengo however, doesn't seem to have Kiryu's energy issues and may be able to fire multiple times. And that thing also has the Hyper Maser in the same weapon. Which is a DRILL.
