He bases his Reed off of the Professor from Gilligan's Island. lol.

I thought that was Byrne that said that? I've also heard actor Jeffrey Hunter being used by as a model. He was in the Searchers with John Wayne and played the first captain of the Enterprise in the pilot that was used to show what happened to Captain Pike in the two parter "The Menagerie"

BTW, I wonder where that Byrne variant cover comes from. He's not done anything for Marvel for decades. It says it's remastered so it must be from some older work.

I believe Ross mentions it in one of the "Marvels" commentary pages. That always stuck with me for some reason. I'll need to double check.
And yeah, it's for sure from an older work. That image looks so familiar too. I wanna say it's from one of Byrne's pinups.

Re reading Hickman's run and then waids as I prepare for their return at last.

Might even read some heroes reborn and return era

I hope we get a great artist like Lee, pacheco, larocca and Ringo before

I'd like to see bachelos take, coipel or Larraz.

It would be cool to see Hickman give the FF another go. I absolutely loved his run. If they are bringing them back, Marvel needs to put a top notch creative team on the book.

I don't want Hickman back. While I loved his run, I like giving new writers a chance so that we can get new inspirations and interpretations of the characters.

Having said that, I pray that Bendis is not the one on the book when they return and is never on an FF book. Ever.

I'm with you on that. I'd like to see Hickman come back too but it seems like Marvel is losing some of the freelancers who went back to their creator owned work at other companies. I think Hickman tweeted about that a while back on how Marvel needs to cut better deals in that area.

I can't place the inspiration for Reed, but Sue resembles a young Angie Dickinson.

If not her, then maybe Ann Margret.
