Regretfully, I concur. I fear that the Disney execs have shut down the FF for now.

Just saw in my e-mail ... if you do digital, this weekend Comixology is offering the first 60 issues of Fantastic Four and the four annuals, for only .99 each!

Namor the Sub-Mariner, Marvel's oldest character, will have been published for 85 years in 2024. So where's my GOOD Namor anniversary ongoing, Marvel?

For those that have never read this seminal run, this is a must read for fans of the Marvel U and comics in general. It is a groundbreaking series that kicks off the Marvel Age of comics. If you are not inclined to pick up the whole series, the following are the best of the best in my opinion:

Issues 39-40 - Assault on the Baxter Building/ A Blind Man would Lead Them
Issue 48-51 - Coming of Galactus and wraps up with This Man, This Monster
Issues 57-60 - Doom takes the Surfer's powers
Annual 2 - Origin of Doctor Doom

There are plenty of great issues and stories in there, but those are my favorites and are some of the most classic stories ever told in the medium of comics.

A lot of the players debuted in these issues, Namor's Silver Age appearance in #4, Doom's 1st appearance in #5, Marvel's first Super Villain Team Up in #6 with Doom and Namor. Black Bolt and the Inhumans and Black Panther. Lots of good stuff!

well I don't know where the rumor started, but Doom is suppose to be on the F4 team post Secret Wars...then again, I will wonder if all of the heroes/villains will remember SW...especially Doom? Where do you go with the character after you have had him achieve the ultimate position in the history of Marvel? The God Emperor over all reality!

No mention of Reed or Sue in today's October solicits news, but we still get this variant cover for the ANAD Amazing Spider-Man #1 (or #2).

With Reed, Sue, and Victor being such major players in Secret Wars and most probably intimately involved in the series conclusion, I'm not surprised that Marvel hasn't leaked any clues regarding post SW statuses for them.
