The Fantastic Four are my favorite comic book team of all time. Great characters and they weren't just a team, they were family.

Wow, I had no idea Carol has been on the Avengers, X-Men AND FF. Cool for her. I also enjoyed the team with Thing, Human Torch, Black Panther and Storm with JMS.

    Amazing Spider-Man #258
Writer: Tom DeFalco; Penciler: Ron Frenz; Inker: Josef Rubinstein; Editor: Danny Fingeroth

    Spider-Man takes Reed Richards up on his offer to examine his new costume, and receives even more startling news;

    Favorite panel:
I love that even Reed thinks that the bag gag is funny.

What can you say about the Amazing Bag-Man? It’s an all-timer.

Ron Frenz. Now THERE was an underrated artist. I loved his work on Thor

Of course that costume brings up an interesting fashion question.

What's the difference between Spider-Man's wall crawling ability between his hands and his feet?

For all his usual costumes - both the hands and feet are fully covered.
For the bag man costume, only the hands are fully covered.

So the boots in the FF uniform don't have the same properties as Spider-Man's normal boots? Or is it just artistic license?

That ability works through thin clothing.

That's not Carol Danvers, it's Ben's then-girlfriend Sharon Ventura. She used the Ms Marvel name for a while around the time that Carol was Binary.

Ah, my mistake, easy to forget how many characters have used the Marvel based names at some point or other...

I wish I could hibernate until the Fantastic Four come back. But, I am happy that Ben and Johnny are getting exposure in other comics (wish Reed and Sue got the same).

I just read the Fantastic Four tie-in to Civil War, I think it might be my favorite tie-in to the original Civil war. makes me miss the Fantastic Four already.

Hopefully Reed, Sue, Franklin, Valeria and the rest of the FF return soon.

Yeah it's just irritating that the Fantastic Four veto is bleeding into just about everything. Like I was thinking of getting into the Legendary Marvel card deck building game until I found Marvel had in the last few months vetoed any reprinting of the Fantastic Four expansion and prevented any Fantastic Four content from being included in the two Secret Wars expansions... you know, the event they were the core focus of. Bah.
