New Avengers!
YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!
Awesometastic. Eager to see now how things will go, and if this will affect Phase 3.
Yeah, I can't reinvest in yet another Spider-Man reboot. Not that Sony's reboot was amazing, but the casting was its best part. Marvel make boring homogeneous **** anyway, so I'll see you around, Spider-Man movies.
Wait... is it April 1st already???
Reading the article, it says that "Sony will still finance, distribute and own the Spidey solo films, along with retaining final creative control" so I take it to mean that outside him being in other people's movies, his movies will largely be on their own hopefully.
One word. Amazing!
Marvel Pull - Fantastic Four, The Immortal Hulk
DC Pull - The Green Lantern, Goddess Mode
Indie Pull - The Wrong Earth, High Heaven
Wary because Sony still has so much say. I'll wait to see the results. I don't want to see Sony's influence corrupt the MCU in any way.
This is pretty great. Sony's studio meddling has hampered the films at least since Raimi's third installment, and now they'll be smarter folks behind Spidey.
I'd also like to put in a good word for my favorite Spidey villains: The Enforcers! Maybe they stop Thanos with their lassoing and knife throwing skills?!
I like the idea in principle but the fact that Sony still has creative control is worrisome.
Still, what could they complain about once Marvel starts making good films starring Spidey?
Anyone else notice the date they set for the release of the next Spider-man film is July 28, 2017, which had been claimed for Thor: Ragnarok by Marvel?
This is great! Finally corporations put their interests aside for the greater good! Talk about great power coming with great responsibility.
Civil War is going to be so crowded.
I hope this is face saving. Sony is so weak a position and Marvel's so strong no need to sacrifice so much power.
The only downside to this is that Sony still has creative control.
Aside that, it's about time Spider-man joined the MCU.
