Nice!
So, this is the 5-feet long prototype for the intended statue:
It'll be 12-feet long from fist to boot and set on a 30some-foot pedestal.
Cost will be about $1 million, and will take around a year from now to be built and displayed in Cleveland, Ohio.
So, this Superman statue will be more horizontal, or at least more diagonal, than straight vertical.
I'm glad the birthplace of Superman will finally get some tangible piece of recognition.
I'm gladder than WB/DC are aware of the project and have no objection to it (despite the statue project being organized in part by their most dreaded enemies: the Siegel & Shuster heirs).
Is the current Superman statue in Metropolis, Illinois bigger than the proposed Superman statue will be in Cleveland?
