I have no idea . However Athena with the Eagle meant protection , guardian, community and Encouragement . Athena's symbol was the eagle has well for this was her symbol of War . However all that upside your right

I love it! Can't wait for this!

Some more interesting Wonder Woman redesigns ...

by Rob Nix (like it, even tho it's too jump-suit for me)

by Femmes-Fatales (like it, even though it's too monochromatic for me)

by Daniel Heard (like it, even though I hate heels or wedges for her footwear)

Aside from the heels, I really like this one.

In general, if someone were to abandon Diana's classic colors for a new color scheme? White and gold are a damn good choice for a replacement.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind if it looked a little more "Grecian" in design, but I'd accept this as a valid re-design in a heartbeat.

We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are,
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

    Some more WW redesigns ...

by Oniphoenix (love the boldness of the hairstyle and the white color scheme, hate the exposed belly and lack of leg protection)

by celebrated creator Colleen Doran of A Distant Soil (a Two-Fer! Like the one on the right more; seems more functional)

by ClintCearley (absolutely love the color scheme here, more similar clothing on Diana would have been great)

It's a nice pic, but I wouldn't call this "classic look Wonder Woman". Not when this Diana somehow looks ethnically African or South/West Asian or South American compared to the clearly Caucasian gunner next to her. I'd call this "racially inclusive look Wonder Woman". Which is something I wholeheartedly support.

by Gino Patti (like this pants look with the straps)

by bloogun (like the pants and straps, like the gold, white and bronze color scheme, like the cape ... although this one seems too long)

by wildcard24 (ignoring the World's Finest here; love the armored legs and arms and sandals, maybe too many colors here: red, blue, white, gold, silver, bronze)
