I suddenly feel a little worried that Spider-Girl is referenced as 'our connection to the 616 Universe'. May's not from 616, so is this saying someone else becomes Spider Girl? Is it a mistake?

Ohhhhh, or is this accidentally revealing that May is going to stay on 616 Earth until Secret Wars?!

Hmmmm, well MC2 Spider-Girl is on the front cover and she's always the one I think of when someone says Spider Girl, but you're likely right. I suppose we'll have to see what the Secret Wars epilogue means for May and her future.

Makes sense. They still haven't announced their MC2 tie-in(s?) to the event (and we've already seen some MC2 characters on some already released promotional material). That's where May should be.

Nah based on what he said about wires getting crossed, that's probably a mistake and the artist mixed up which Spider-Girl was supposed to be there.

Spiderverse didn't even use her Avengers Assemble outfit which is her current costume.
