    Default Wakanda - What Happened?

All we had to begin with is some cryptic reference from the Black Panther about the world giving Wakanda to Thanos' Cabal. Then later, we have a flashback to the UN speech by a delegate about everyone agreeing to let the Cabal continue to blow up planets. Then Terrax makes a speech in the UN about the sun rising the next morning, and Sue Richards mentioning to Steve how he then came at Terrax with a stick. All we hear next is, when they asked for Wakanda in exchange, who could deny them? For all souls had been sold.

Are we going to learn any further details on what was done to Wakanda? Did the Cabal go into Wakanda and wipe out the army and push out the civilians?

yes pretty much that's what the cabal did..wakanda were holding the planet destroying bombs which they wanted
What we used to call life has very little worth these days. Welcome to the very edge.

Presumably in Avengers World #19 and #20 which is part of the "Before Time Runs Out" arc. The solicit for both issues is the same:
    • The fall of The Avengers!
    • Namor's fury unleashed!
    • The Cabal rises...no world is safe!

Avengers #40: "All that remains of Wakanda is ash and rubble. See, brother... it's all Necropolis now. A city of ghosts. A kingdom of nothing but the dead."

Avengers World #16 was like out in 16 December 2014. We don't get AW #17 till 18 February 2015, that's more than 2 months delay, so we can't expect #19 and 20 till April and May 2015. What is the delay here?

Was this the issue where Shuri went and faced the Cabal and died fighting? Where she handed back the knife to T'Challa to stab Namor?

It's all a big tragedy. Once it was this proud nation of Wakanda, full of inventiveness, perhaps the most advanced after Attalan, (that was destroyed as well), and now it's facing Eternity at the end of history, in such a sorry state. What are we to make of Wakanda, which revealed itself in FF # 82 so many years ago, to have been reduced to rubble at the last utterance of human history? Is this the price to pay for all Wakandas isolationism, or, was it just the death throws of a fickle United Nations who would have handed over the holy of holies, the Vatican and Saudi Arabia's Muslim edifices just as easily?

it is a tragedy for the proud nation of wakanda to be in such a state.
however other states in the MU are no better either (atlantis, attilan)

while you've got every right to be upset about this, i don't agree with bringing up the holy lands in this conversation
to better suit your argument, can i suggest a better example? how about latveria, the savage lands?
    peace

This is true to a large extent. T'Challas arrogance, lack of concern for his people, and his foolishness led to the decemantion of his people. He should have known better as a former king than to have those people an items so close together on wakandan soil. He especially should have known better than to hold actual meetings in the city in which he lives in.

Pretty much put a target on every Wakandans back.

You might have to make some sacrifices when the fate of the multiverse is at stake though. If they succeed it will all have been worth it in the end.
