No, Rachel dominated her in a fight. However she turned her back after beating No Girl to focus on Spider-Man and No Girl got in a cheap shot and assaulted Rachel from behind to erase her memory of who Peter was. It was all in all very bad writing and one of the worst story arcs in X-History as the writer made it a point to badmouth and demonize the X-Men while having Peter be a total hypocritical moron that was way out of character.

The writer also wanted to push No Girl at the cost of Rachel, Storm and the such and it backfired hard as the writer hit them with the idiot stick and wrote them way OOC to try and prop up the trash character that is No Girl.

It was cowardly and pathetic, No Girl should have been expelled for what she did or at least given more than detention as Rachel ended up being 100% right and No Girl was aiding Sinister which got people hurt, caused a ton of damage and No Girl was unapologetic for her actions.

The writer pushing No-Girl did no good, as Rachel is on a main team of X-Men and she just psychically took down a team of advanced sentinels. And even as the writer wrote the crap you mentioned, if Rachel had been out for blood she could have killed No-Girl.

Stuff like this No-Girl even being able to do a cheap shot like this is fan-fiction. Sadly at times fan-fiction is published in the comics, fortunately so it's bad it's never really referenced again.

The writer later admitted that they should have had Rachel win anyway, most likely from the backlash of a no name like No Girl actually putting up a fight like she did.

Rachel was holding back though and her goal was Spider-Man, shame that the writer made her irrationally angry at Spider-Man for no reason, made the kids a bunch of traitors and made Spider-Man into a hypocrite.

They tried and it failed, no girl just isn't popular and everyone knows that she is far weaker than Rachel. Her cheap shot was also not good for her character as it made people dislike her and garnered her no new fans.

Anyway , Rachel kissed Kurt. There's been a thing between them since Excalibur and she was very close to Kurt in his last solo series so it isn't exactly out of the blue per say.

What are your thoughts on It?

I'm fine with it as this Kurt isn't the same that watched over her in her timeline and Kurt is one of the few romance options that she has who is a good guy for her.

Though her forwardness is concerning, seems her recently unlocked and uncontrollable power is affecting her judgement.
