I really have to wonder how bad a drop off 50 Shades is going to have next week. Every review I have seen on it just savages it and says the only redeeming thing about the whole thing is Dakota Johnson. Everyone knew it would open big, but the word of mouth is going to kill it fast I think.

2 Rater R movies making that much cash is good.
Maybe this can push Hollywood to bring back the glory of the 80s.

funny that 50sog made more than kingsmen, even though every review i've read utterly shits on it.

Even the actors involved in 50 Shades have said that they regretted being a part of it only on the first days of shooting and that it made them really uncomfortable.

I usually avoid anything with Mark Millar's name on it but I might check out Kingsman. I've heard good things and I know Matthew Vaughn is certainly capable of making a movie better than its comic book counterpart.

Had an awesome time watching Kingsmen. Did not think it would be as entertaining as it was.

Didn't the book get horrible reviews too?

Yes. And the movie got terrible advance reviews too, which didn't keep women from flocking to it.

To be fair, most reviews of Fifty Shades that I've seen are by men. Which is pointless. Men are not the target audience. I'd be interested to see women's reviews of the film.
