The shipping nonsense leaves me feeling like women are gold chains for Cyclops to wear.

It be cool if hill kisses cyclops for killing him after he gets brought back to life or eva

Given what a stickler for continuity you are, I'm surprised at how much headcanon has to go into a statement like that given that no woman has ever actually left Cyke (unless you count dying as leaving him)...like it or not, he's always been the one to "leave"...the only one that could even be debatable is Emma and, given that she's still following him around and just had a breakdown and got herself killed over his apparent death, it kind of undercuts the argument.
No idea what you're talking about. Cyclops' exes have a habit of whining about the guy being a jerk, pretending their feelings didn't get hurt and carrying on as if they would've eventually dumped him anyway. Lee Forrester is the one notable exception and, what do you know, she wasn't an x-man, lol.
Take Emma, for instance. She went on the record about how she could happily live with simply enjoying Scott's company for the kiddies' sake. Then Scott made the colossal mistake of telling Magik they were done, thus preventing Emma from pretending she was the dumper. Two minutes worth of continuity later, Emma turned into a bitter troll.

The cuckoos on panel pointed out how confused she was on her feelings for scott the issue where he and Magik went to the JGS.
I'm hoping for Emma. As it would be a shame to throw all the work character development. Simply because Bendis dislikes the relationship. Then again it's Bendis. He won't let something like character development get in the way of his story.
Jean loves me this I know because the church says it so.
Havok and Emma were right.
