The Uncanny Valley : Tales from a Lost Town by Gregory Miller : Fun little short-story collection written by residents of a very mysterious town. Love how eerie many of the stories are.
Read the third Locke Lamora book. These aren't the best fantasy books out there, but I'll continue with them. Might read book 4 of Malazan this week.
If you mean Dragon Teeth, the new book Michael Crichton book, I did! Not sure how much is actual Crichton work and what was ghost written, but it's a decent read. However, it was nothing like any of Crichton books of the past. It is historical fiction, there's no sci-fi and the action is minimal. The characters were well written and the book really makes the old West feel like an almost fantasy setting. But don't expect Jurassic Park.
I finished reading an advance copy of Nick Wilkshire's The Moscow Code, which I enjoyed. It's a book that I am reviewing for a magazine.

"I can't complain. I got to be Jim Morrison for the first half of my life, and Ward Cleaver for the second half." - Warren Zevon.
Current book I am reading is The Swerve. It is a pretty fascinating history based story of the preservation of a Roman scroll based on the philosophy of Epircurus. That doesn't sound amazing but when you get into the story, it really is. Like in good lay history, it opens up worlds you may not be as familiar with.
I began The Crusades: A Short History by Jonathan Riley-Smith today. On Wednesday, I should be working on the first (arguably) Simon Templar book on my Kindle: Enter the Saint by Leslie Charteris.

Any opinions on the books of Jess Nevins here?
Brave New World by Aldous Huxley
World War Z by Max Brooks, this one was better than I expected.
Brooklyn Follies by Paul Auster, an author I just discovered but am really getting into.
Now reading The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoyevsky.

Dreams of a Final Theory: The Search for the Fundamental Laws of Nature by Steven Weinberg.
It is as dry as a popcorn fart.
It takes a special talent to take a subject as interesting as the fundamental rules that govern reality and make it so boring.

The Complete Stories of J G Ballard. The master of surrealism drops 100+ tales of madness that left my head spinning. I just finished it, been picking away at these trippy tales for months.
I can tell it will be the same for me. I've already had to take a break and read an entire other short book before returning to it. It's my 2nd Dostoyevsky, the first being Crime And Punishment. That one sucked me in much quicker and I blew through it over a couple of days, I don't see that happening with this one.
