I don't know that one. Is it fiction or nonfiction?

I enjoyed Asimov's Black Widowers stories.

Julie Kenner's Aphrodite's Kiss. Superhero romance. Kenner is really good about both embracing sheer cheese and putting together in detail what life could be like for someone with super powers, like how super-senses affect eating or napping to how or how hard it might be to slow down to normal human speeds when you're feeling in a hurry or it's easier to just speed off and get something done.

It's fiction. It's one of the Galactic Empire novels, the prequels to the Foundation Trilogy.

Thanks. I'll see if my local library has it.

My wife is having me read The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa. An interesting take on the Vampire YA genre that's actually quite good. Vivid descriptions, an interesting story so far, and the vampires remind me a lot of the ones in "Vampire: The Masquerade" (especially the Bloodlines PC game), in terms of abilities, vulnerabilities, generational power, etc.

After that, my next one is The Martian. Normally I read the book before seeing the movie, but this time only bought the book after seeing the movie, so it's next on my list.

The first two books in Julie Kagawa's Blood Eden trilogy were such a fun read, but that third one...ugh. I had the same problem with the Raven' Shadow trilogy by Anthony Ryan. I read the first two on the days they came out and couldn't wait for the last one. Then everything just fell apart and it took me about a month just to force myself to finish it.

I was assigned those two books for summer reading. Dorian Gray for my junior year (I loved it) and Old Man my senior year (I never read it).

I'm now reading For the Record: A Documentary History of America, Volume 2 for my history course. I am enjoying it a lot
