The Beatles Are Here! edited by Penelope Rowlands. It's a collection of essays about the Beatles' first appearances on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1964.

This is the first Agatha Christie novel I've read and what an incredible 'whodunit' it is. The mystery is interesting, the cast rich with colorful characters and the ending reveal was fantastic and unexpected. I am definitely interested in reading the other adventures of detective Hercule Poirot as well as more of Christie's other work.
I recomend Dorothy Sayers and GK Chesterton.

Finishing Guns, Germs and Steel by Jared Diamond and mostly through Year Zero by Ian Buruma. The first, Guns Germs and Steel, is a fascinating, well known book. Year Zero is newer but also amazing book about a single year, 1945.

In case you haven't found out yet, Joe Hill is the son of Stephen King. He uses the maiden name of his mother, Tabitha Hill King.

I recently finished reading Horns myself. It had me hooked, especially the last third of the book. I think I might start NOS4A2 after reading your synopsis!

It's actually a comic right now called " The Wraith " but plan on picking it up after the book. But It's good . Might actually start reading Locke & Key as well.

A Game of Thrones, first book in A Song Of Ice And Fire, by George RR Martin.

Some fair similarities to the show, but some interesting differences.

Khal Drogo bit more considerate, but still rape, I feel.

Catelyn A LOT more unlikeable, mean, what have you.

    Jon younger than I thought.

    Interesting.
