"The Batman is Gotham City. I will watch him. Study him. And when I know him and why he does not kill, I will know this city. And then Gotham will be MINE!"-BANE
"We're monsters, buddy. Plain and simple. I don't dress it up with fancy names like mutant or post-human; men were born crueler than Apes and we were born crueler than men. It's just the natural order of things"-ULTIMATE SABRETOOTH

THE CBR COMMUNITY STANDARDS & RULES ~ So... what's your excuse now?
I have read The Kennedy Legacy: Jack, Bobby and Ted and a Family Dream Fulfilled. It is a Book written by Vincent Bzdek.
According to the book, Joe Kennedy Sr. raised and expected all his sons to be not only politicians but be president. Joe Sr. didn't just pass his wealth on to his sons. He also passed his presidential aspirations on to them. The book also alludes that the Joe Sr. was heavily involved in his sons' political campaigns.
George W. Bush also rose to the same heights his father George H.W. Bush did. Jeb followed in his father and brother's footsteps but wasn't successful as them.
Why didn't Chelsea Clinton also rise to the same heights her parents achieved? Did Hillary never raise Chelsea to follow in her footsteps?

Latest Kindle read: Anno Dimini 2071 (1871) by Pieter Harting.

I just read Susanna Clarke's PIRANESI. It's really good, and at 243 pages it's a quick read.
It's hard to describe or define, but those who know the video-game ICO, or who ever wondered what a normal person's reaction to a Dark Souls world would be like, might have some idea what to expect from the story.
It's one of the best and most unique fantasy stories I've read in a while.

Finished Raymond Chandler's Farewell, My Lovely and just started The High Window. I think I might take a small break and read something different before I move on to the second volume.

It’s a Robin Hood retelling from his enemy Guy of Gisbourne’s perspective, set up as a “noir.”

Old Man's War by John Scalzi. I'm a sucker for a good space opera, and this came highly recommended.
