THE CBR COMMUNITY STANDARDS & RULES ~ So... what's your excuse now?
Finished Robert Jordan's "Conan the Victorious" yesterday. Also, I'm currently reading "Die Känguru-Apokryphen", the fourth short story collection by anarchist comedian Marc-Uwe Kling about his adventures with his room-mate, the communist kangaroo.
Later on today, I'll tackle The Life of Greece (1939), the second volume from The Story of Civilization series by Will and Ariel Durant.
Tomorrow on my Kindle, it will be Have His Carcase (1932), the 7th novel from the Lord Peter Wimsey series by Dorothy L. Sayers.

Unveiling Claudia: A True Story of Serial Murder by Daniel Keyes
Just finished the last 13th Doctor novel so far, Combat Magicks. Absolutely awful, especially considering that the other two were good. In fact, technically I didn't finish it, the last 20 minutes or so I just couldn't bring myself to bother with. This book was all over the place... Thankfully, Legacy of Blood was a different story. Probably my favourite Diablo based novel so far!

Slight derail but can anyone recommend me a non dry single volume Abraham Lincoln biography ?

Latest books to read: today on my Kindle Jurgen: A Comedy of Justice (1919) by comic-fantasy pioneer James Branch Cabell.
The next two are non-Kindle: starting Monday, I'll take on American Legends: The Marx Brothers (2014) by the Charles River Editors...
... and since the last book is on the short side, next will be Caesar and Christ (1944), the third volume from The Story of Civilization series by Will and Ariel Durant.

King of Scars by Leigh Bardugo, loved revisiting this world and characters, ending left me frustrated but in a good way, looking forward to the next book to find out how it all wraps up.
Running With Lions, by Julian Winters, a cute YA book about soccer and queer kids.
Currently reading Neil Gaiman's Norse Mythology.

Don't bother! I mean, if you have to read it (like I did) then just read the first chapter. The rest is super repetitive.
