Started reading:
In the Best Families by Rex Stout <Nero Wolfe>
(orig. published 1950; 1995 Bantam "Crime Line")
I just discovered Nero Wolfe through the Sherlock tangent in TVtropes. Seems amusing, though I'll probably watch it since the 2000 series looks very well made.
I recently finished Gulliver of Mars

Its a bit dull tbh.
New Kindle reads: The King of the Golden River (1841) by John Ruskin and The Efficiency Expert (1921) by Edgar Rice Burroughs.

The Disasters by M.K. England, four space academy washouts get caught up in an intergalactic terrorist plot. A thrilling Sci-Fi adventure. Hoping for a sequel because I want to spend more time with these characters.
Author Gene Wolf has passed away.

Looks like this may be the right place for this. Almost finished with The Dresden Files series and I love it. Looking for the next series and thinking about trying Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time. Thoughts or recommendations on either The Wheel of Time or other fantasy series?

“It’s your party and you can cry if you want to.” - Captain Europe
Love the Wheel of Time. I've read or listened to the whole thing twice and the earlier books more times than that. Its a massive undertaking though given the length. Its biggest plus is that its finished. Negative is it does drag for a few books mid series when the author got more interested in world building than moving the plot forward. Its still good now that its finished but it was highly frustrating at the time of these books release since so little forward plot movement was happening.
There apparently is going to be an Amazon TV series based on it so if you read it now you'll be ahead of the game.
Likely every opinion you get is going to love / hate with no in between.
I finished reading the Jack Higgins novel A Devil Is Waiting. It was okay but nothing all that much to really write home about.

On my Kindle, I'll start reading tomorrow The Worn Ouroboros (1922) by Eric Rücker Eddison. On Easter, my new non-Kindle book will be Separation of Power (2001), the 3rd book in the Mitch Rapp series by Vince Flynn.
