I'm not sure if this has been mentioned in this thread yet, but does anyone have any book recommendations for improving self-motivation, self-discipline, etc? Thanks!
We are the Dora Milaje. We are the daughters of the 18 tribes of Wakanda. We are the teeth of the Panther God. Out of 10,000 years of sweat and bloodshed and battle are we born. We are the women of this ancient land. Deadliest of the species. And our time has come!

Started reading:
Killer in the Rain by Raymond Chandler
(© 1964 by Helga Greene Literary Agency;
First Ballantine Books Edition: July 1972,
Seventh Printing: June 1984)
NOTE: Collection of stories originally published in Black Mask magazine, Dime Detective Magazine, and Detective Story Magazine between 1934 and 1941.
According to the book's introduction, parts of these stories were later reused for Chandler's novels The Big Sleep, Farewell, My Lovely, and The Lady in the Lake.
I'm reading The Book Of The New Sun by Gene Wolf. Which is really 4 books in one. It's amazing stuff. A largely unreliable narrator. A story set really far in the future. A setting that feels like a fantasy novel but is absolutely a science fiction story. The narrator doesn't bother to explain any of the odd things in the book to you because, to him, they're not unusual at all. So you're left to figure things out. It is truly one of the best books I've ever had the privilege to read and I highly recommend it to fans of science fiction.

"Kids don't care **** about superhero comic books. And if they do, they probably start with manga, with One Punch-Man or My Hero Academia. " -ImOctavius.
I went to the Jon Land book signing today. I bought the new book Blood Moon that he co-wrote with Heather Graham, chatted with him for a while and got some of my other books signed as well.

Currently reading Rap and hip hop culture by Fernando Orejuela (2015). An academic text that might need updating.
While I'm here - what are some books you wish they'd MAKE?
Coffee table books on old video stores, video arcades and drive in movie theatres would be cool as would "The video game book" by DK publishing similar to their books on cars, motor bikes etc. featuring atari, coleco, famicon systems, pong and after burner cabinets and much much more!
With the passing of Mike Leach, I dusted off his book, "Swing Your Sword". Excellent, entertaining, and motivational.

Now that my Christmas reading on my Kindle has ended, I'm now reading Like Love (1962). It's the sixteenth installment of the 87th Precinct series by Ed McBain.
