Stupid White Men... and other sorry excuses for the State of the Nation- Michael Moore
Being a book about George W.Bush's USA the parallels and mechanisms are disturbingly similar to the Coupe d' Trump

I started a book that collects the two novels and a series of short stories written by María Luisa Bombal, a famous writer from my country

The Fascinators by Andrew Eliopulos, (sub)urban fantasy, a group of friends in a magic club become involved with a dangerous magic cult. I really enjoyed the system of magic and it's function in this world, but the climax and denouement felt very rushed and unsatisfying, with some things left unresolved and another development feeling kind of hollow because of a lack of build up. It felt like the author wasn't sure if he was going to be able to do a sequel so he tried to leave it somewhat open, but also give a solid ending just in case and as a result it just feels disappointing.

La Tiranía de la Igualdad, by Axel Kaiser. A rightwing book that works as a response to a center-left book I previously read, El Otro Modelo, dealing with social and economic issues from my country

Perfume: The Story of a Murderer, by Patrick Süskind. I watched the movie as a kid and I was left fascinated, so I decided to give the book a try as an adult and see how much of the story holds up, with the obvious differences between a film adaptation and the original novel.
