I remember Ohio had a recent problem where they had a new license plate design and they screwed that up.

It probably was reversed for aesthetic reasons. Besides, maybe it is going in the right direction, but the view is from the other side.

At any rate, it's not like the famous photograph of Billy the Kid that shows he was lefthanded... except the photo had been reversed for decades and he was actually a righty.

I finished reading Last Seen Alive by Joanna Schaffhausen today. It's the fifth and sadly final book in the Ellery Hathaway series. And it goes out on a high note. I blazed through this book and loved it.

Of course, this book was made that much more special when I learned that the author thanked me in the acknowledgements at the end of the book. That was quite unexpected to say the least.

    Nice going!

It is a great feeling, no doubt. My real name pops up in a few baseball stats books and it still makes me happy thinking about it.

The terms are simple: Rapp agrees to leave the country and stay in plain sight for as long as Cook controls the White House. In exchange, the administration agrees to not to make any moves against him.

This fragile détente holds until Cook’s power-hungry security adviser convinces him that Rapp has no intention of honoring their agreement. In an effort to put him on the defensive, they leak the true identity of his partner, Claudia Gould. As Rapp races to neutralize the enemies organizing against her, he discovers that a new generation of assassin is on her trail. A killer known to intelligence agencies only as Legion.

The shadowy group has created a business model based on double-blind secrecy. Neither the killer nor the client knows the other’s identity. Because of this, Legion can’t be called off nor can they afford to fail. No matter how long it takes—weeks, months, years—they won’t stand down until their target is dead. Faced with the seemingly impossible task of finding and stopping Legion, Rapp and his people must close ranks against a world that has turned on them."

I am reading Tales of The Empire today. I am hoping to make a big dent in it. I want to finish a book a month this year.

Don't try to read too fast just to brag about how many books you've read. When it comes to reading, quality is more important than quantity.

Oh I very much agree with you.

I love reading and taking it in. my book a month is just a goal because I have been too focused on video games and Comic books that I have not done much normal reading. my goal is to help with that. if I dont do it Meh. But if I dont set goals I wont even attempt it at all.
