I picked up a couple new books today. The first is Vicki Delany's The Game is a Footnote, the latest in her Sherlock Holmes Bookshop series. The second book is Tracy Clark's Hide, the first book in her new series.

(Sorry, I have no idea why the pic is coming out rotated. It shows up on my computer in the correct upright position.)

The last two days I have been reading Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix. I am about 300 pages in and should be done soon.

New Kindle reads: Today it was the essay Self Development and the Way to Power (1916) by L.W. Rogers.

Tomorrow, it will be The Saint in New York (1935), the fourteenth Simon Templar book by Leslie Charteris.

One New Years Resolution I made this year was to read more. So I am going to finish up some series I have been working on.

I want to finish the Harry Potter books. I am most way through The Order of The Phoenix and have the last two books after that to finish.

I am also making way way through the Warhammer Slayer Series. So I have a lot to read and I am loving it. I am reading less comics and doing more normal reading.

If audiobooks count, I've been listening to Thrawn by Timothy Zahn and The Lonely Century by Noreena Hertz. Timothy Zahn is a great author, it's very engaging. The Lonely Century is about how the loneliness epidemic is driven by individual choices and socioeconomic factors. There are some god-awful thinkpieces that usually blame individuals, on top of articles that have all these cool tips and tricks for making friends post college, but don't dig into the meat of why so many people have trouble connecting in the first place.

I still read enough new comics, but they are so easy to get through I still have plenty of time for non-comics reading.

Ive just been way to focused on comic book reading and have shied away from normal reading for too long. I need to find a healthy balance.
