Aw, Tom Jane is in the Expanse, he also was the Punisher, the lead in Hung and the voice of Jonah Hex. The book was a second topic.

Oh, my bad. I always refer to him as Thomas Jane. Yes, if you're a fan of Jane, you will most definitely like this series.

Began work today on Alan Dean Foster's Lost and Found and will be tackling, on my Kindle, The Jekyll Revelation by Robert Masello this weekend.

I started reading the first book (Leviathan Wakes) in the Expanse series and I'm about a 1/3 of the way through it and I really like it. I've already noticed some small differences between the book and TV show, but this book is darn good. So much that I went ahead and ordered the rest of the series off of Amazon. I bought the box set of the first three books, then shelled out for the HC of the rest of the series.

I wish I could have all of them in HC, but I am not paying $200 for the first book. That's ridiculous.

Anyway, if you're looking for an amazing book or series of books to read, I would recommend this.

I haven't read any of the Expanse books yet, but since I like the show, I probably will sometime in the future.

If you want the HC's, you better buy them now because they're getting expensive.

Old Thrawn books aren't canon any more, this book is part of the new canon, and sets up his background for his appearance in the Star Wars Rebels television show.

Aftermath trilogy is some of the worst SW books ever. Bloodlines is freaking amazing, though. That and Lost Stars (from the same author as Bloodlines) take SW fanfic to a whole new level.
I've read worse in Legends but it was pretty bad and cemented Wendig as the bottom of the barrel of the new canon.

Speaking of which I just finished Tarkin, another excellent book, really outside of Aftermath the new continuity books have been very good.

Anyone doing a Goodreads challenge? I listen to audiobooks all day at work so I set my challenge super high at 150. I'm at 64 books already!

Most recently, read books 4 and 5 of the Saxon Stories, the books behind the TV show The Last Kingdom. Uhtred Son Of Uhtred kicks ass.

On to Crime & Punishment. Loving it so far, almost finished actually. Want to read more older books like this, ones that don't suck. This book is like the OG American Psycho or Fight Club, although obviously not as extravagant and more grounded in reality, but summing up the mindset of a man at war with himself and his surroundings.
