Tomorrow, I'm going to start Dr. Nikola's Experiment on my Kindle, the fourth book of Guy Boothby's fantastical series featuring the not-so-good doctor.

Just finished 'Leviathan Wakes', the first book in The Expanse series. I can't tell you how much I loved it! Had I not watched the TV show, I probably would not have got the books. I HIGHLY recommend this book and the series. There's so many great characters in the book and the story itself is amazing.
I'm sure you all have read books that you hate to put down because they're so good and you just want to keep on reading them without stopping. Well, this is one of those books. I already started on the next one, 'Caliban's War'.
If you want to read a great Sci-Fi book series, this is it. Check out the reviews, especially George R.R. Martin's and other well known writers.

I finished reading an advance copy of Stephanie Gayle's new Thomas Lynch mystery Idyll Fears.

"I can't complain. I got to be Jim Morrison for the first half of my life, and Ward Cleaver for the second half." - Warren Zevon.
Just finished Noah Hawley's Before The Fall. You can easily telk this is the same guy who created the Fargo series and Legion. The jumbled time line and the histories of the characters. There were a few times I was bored but I read it in 3 days. I'd definitely pick up what ever novel of his came next.
I'm reading The Devil in the Kitchen by Marco Pierre White, loads of fun and such a perfect picture of the zeitgeist of that time. Highly recommended.
