Finished Home Invasion by A. American, book 8 in an ongoing series. The author is a survivalist IRL and the book is about a post-electricity America with the main hero using his survivalist skills to get by in the new world. The author is a little wild and he hates most politicians, from Trump to Hillary and Obama, so the series is full of weird conspiracies like Obama being implied as responsible for the EMT that wrecked the world.

Now reading The Complete Robot, by Isaac Asimov. Every story is amazing so far.

Many people really swear by them, so I want to give the series one final chance before giving up. Usually I like a bigger cast in my long running book series, this has Dresden but the side cast seems to come and go. Also, I listen to the audiobooks and enjoy the James Marsters narration (Spike from Buffy), so I'm not too opposed to doing one final Dresden book.

I have read all of them by him (my favorite Sci-Fi author, BTW) and some posthumous books by other authors.

Just finished Caliban's War (the second book in the Expanse series). Guys, this series is so amazing! If you haven't tried these books you don't know what you're missing. And that last page? Woooweeee!

I recently purchased the Alienist and The Angel of Darkness by Caleb Carr but I probably won't get to those for a while. I'm going to start reading the next novel in the Expanse series 'Abaddon's Gate'.

Been reading Pym by Mat Johnson. It's about a former adjunct who loses his job and goes on a trip with his best friend to find out the legacy of a man who was the basis for a character from a Edgar Allan Poe story. It's pretty funny and deals a lot with race in literature, academia, and society.

When I first heard the phrase "stream of consciousness," I believe it was in reference to this book. Haven't read it yet, though I saw the Yul Brynner film (with toupee! ) back in the mid-'80s.

Never read that one (and I have read quite a few books about the Bambino - and hundreds of baseball books in general, FWIW). It will be on my to-read list now.

Other than some short stories of hers, I don't believe I have ever read any of her novels (which surprises me, BTW).

I didn't know there was a movie. I'll check it out when I'm finished with the book.
