Definitely the right choice. Hickman's FF run is one of the all time greats.

Fraction didn't even write half his own run, although I did enjoy FF even after he left. Allred is what kept it good.

Kesel and Allred were co-writers of the last few issues of Fantastic Four and FF respectively (out of the 16 issue run) so it's safe to say Fraction did more than half.
BTW, since this is a recurring query, I will merge all "best Fantastic Four runs" and then add a link to the Marvel directory.

And once you finish Hickman's (does it qualify as classic yet?) run, you can check out the current run by Robinson, which is fantastic so far.
Hickman. One of my favorite runs ever (along with his Ultimate material).
I can not recommend highly enough "No One Gets Out Alive". It is one of my favorite story arcs of the FF. Sue has so many badass moments in the arc, it's awesome.
