Hellboy painting

Hey! Just wanted to drop in and share with you guys a painting I'm doing on Hellboy. Loooong story short, I'm a painter with the heart of an Illustrator, more importantly, I've always been a fan of Mignola and wanted to try and make Hellboy my own. I'm totally conscious of the design choices I'm making and how they may or may not be canon Hellboy. The bottom line is I have so much respect for Mignola, that I didn't just want to copy his drawings and paint them. I really wanted to see what qualities of Hellboy I thought would work well within my painting.

I like the color choices and appreciate the individual style. The expression on Hellboy's face says a lot to me. Thanks for sharing.
