PC Darkseid "lol nopes" Vals attacks. He outright ignores them and continues to do his own thing. And Popeye is given the win over him. What does that tell you?

At this point; it seems you'd need to be at least a Skyfather in order to take him out.

Ah but is it magic spinach that would power up anybody or is it just that it has that effect on Popeye?

Besides, I seem to remember a previous thread where it was pointed out that Popeye not eating the spinach yet is largely irrelevant because nothing seems to be able to stop him from shrugging off what should be horrible damage even before eating spinach and magically making spinach cans appear in his hand, squeezing them open, eating the spinach and getting even more powerful than he already is.

the spinach works for anyone. the few times popeye doesn't come out of an ep the winner is when someone else eats it. olive gets it, his nephews get it, his father gets it, sweetpea gets it, hell even bluto gets it and that was when popeye force fed it to him and make bluto beat his ass.
