*Sigh* well at least it will be cool to see both of them together and gives them time to work on the script as well

Boo... Guess there had to be something to rain on the Spider-Man announcement parade.

I'm happy that the Captain Marvel movie is coming out. But frankly I'm more disappointed with how Inhumans will now come after Infinity War Part 2, with no plans to change IF2's date.

That actually makes the Black Panther film the big SUMMER blockbuster. So that's kinda cool. And that likely places the movie during "big event" season in the comics as they usually occur in the summer ... which potentially means he'll play a larger high profile role for BP.

All around this could be a good thing.

I heard they had two scripts ready for Civil War, one with Spidey and one without.

If I'm remembering my DC movie dates correctly (and assuming DC doesn't move those things around) I believe that will pit the Black Panther movie against DC's Aquaman movie. They won't be at the exact same time but I think they're close.

BP seems to be competing against Sea Kings a lot in recent years.

Yeah but i hope this doesn't mean that T'Challa won't appear in civil war. That will be a missed opportunity in my opinion but we will see

As far as comp goes I will take Aquaman. Course, I might change my tune if DC produces a record of turning out of quality product but right now not worried.

that's bull. Spiderman has had his time to shine since the beginning of time. There's not much fresh and new the can do with him. And now three movies are pushed back.

It sort of makes sense to have Spider-Man around Civil War though. He might literally be the ONLY superhero in the marvel cinematic universe with a secret identity.
