Hmm, depends on if they know about head shots being the best idea or not. They certainly have the armor, shield, and range (spears) for the work. And the ability to hold off superior numbers if they form up properly.

Well, I should say real world Spartans would. The ones from the 300 movie........didn't have armor. And often fought by themselves.

Both of which is a bad idea, and not what real Spartans would do.

Without common knowledge there aren't going to be a lot of Spartans going for head shots, which means there are going to be a lot of infected Spartans pretty quickly. Fighting in their underpants isn't going to help.
