Not really 'Runaways' as much as cashing in on the name....

Concept sounds fine enough, but after so many throw away teen characters who've appeared then vanished, I dunno that I can be bothered to get connected to another lot only for them to go the way of Avengers Academy, Initiative and Young X-Men.

I think I'd have rather had something with the Young Avengers.

Probably give the first one a go though, not a fan of the cartoony odd proportion art though, so I might not....

Never been fond of the original Runaways but this is clearly a new take on the concept with alternate versions of various characters at an... alternate universe school? So this is a maybe for me.

Not really Runaways but sounds interesting. Secret War just seems like a bunch of What If stories and not a merging of Universes.

Still NO Atlanteans. No Namorita, no Loa, no Nara, etc. = no interest.

I wish they, conformed which universes the cast comes from. I mean bucky, cho, jubilee, cloak, dagger. Obviously some are not 616. But which ones if not all lol.

I know people were expecting the regular Runaways, and admittedly, so was I. I just got my boyfriend into the brand. It would've been great if they had released a new volume with those characters.

But actually? I feel like I could dig this, too. The team is a mish mash and the concept sounds interesting enough. Different from a lot of what we've seen. I'll give it a try, at least.

The only one that actually looks to be 616 is Valeria Richards, and maybe Skaar.

I guess fans of the Runaways might feel a little put out, but I like how Stevenson described it and it rings true to the concept of the Runaways to me.

Bucky, Jubilee, Skaar, Cho and Cloak and Dagger? Seems like a cool bunch.
