So with WB trying to build a DCCU, this would be a perfect opportunity to try again with Kara. They even threw in that hint to her with the open stasis pod in MOS. The old movie was a misfire (although I really liked Helen Slater's performance as Kara), so lets see if we can do better this time WB.

I think it's a wait and see for WB's movie-verse now. It is really going to all hang on Batman vs. Superman. If that goes well & then Justice League, I can see them bringing in Kara, but most likely as the plot focus of a Superman solo film first.

It's interesting looking at her old and New 52 costumes side to side. You can see the strengths and weaknesses of both. The old look pretty cool except for the bare midriff. Well, it's not the midriff itself that's the problem, it's that the shirt is often drawn as being too high up. The miniskirt is fine except for when some artists draw it too short or do upskirt shots of a teenage girl, eww. The New 52 costume fixes the midriff problem, but then gives us that stupid diaper thing instead of the miniskirt.
