Eh. A comic that basically a handful of people read, LONG before a single word had been written for the script of this movie may not end up being that important.

If DC decides they'd rather stay a little more true to Kara's origin and let her actually BE a girl? Then they can disregard that book easily. Not too many people will have read it, and even fewer would really care.

Except that Snyder and co went out of their way to hint at the events of the comic in MOS (the empty open stasis pod that Clark finds on the ship). That doesn't seem like the action of someone who's just going to completely disregard the comic. Quite the opposite in fact.

I'm just saying a lot of plans can change in 2-3 years. They may have intended it to be canon at the time. But seeing as how Kara isn't likely to be appearing until the NEXT Superman movie at the earliest? They can easily decide that their original idea for that comic doesn't work anymore.

I'm personally hoping they'll bring Kara in a different way. As I said before, I don't like the idea of SuperGIRL being a full-grown woman.

People give the new direction a lot of grief, but I hope they're also reading Red Lanterns because it's a pretty cool idea with good execution. I think it's a lot more creative than just stuffing her into the League.

Nope!

I didn't like the Red Lanterns before they hijacked Supergirl. Having her join them and their merry murder campaign only made me avoid them more than ever.

There is nothing cool about taking an already unlikable character and making her even MORE unlikable, violent, and brutal than she's already been.

I was skeptical at first but i like it. It seems more real than just saying she is over it. And her time as a lantern Looks to be over already.

And generally i like this run.
