Son of the Sensei, father to Talia and grandfather to Damian Wayne. Kept alive for centuries, he often seeks to find an heir to carry on his legacy.

Ra's is my favorite Batman villain, mainly because he is very different from the vast majority of Batman villains.
He's not a gimmick or a shtick, he is who he is and essentially he is a brilliant contrast to Batman. It's funny because as a kid, I wasn't really big on Ra's. But Tower of Babel and the Batman Legacy saga totally changed my perspective toward Ra's in that I could begin to see what made him such a great adversary to Batman.
