"Beware the Batman" Thread (possible spoilers)

Do you guys think they should have stuck with traditional bad guys? Or was it good that they branched out into characters like Magpie, Humpty Dumpty, etc.?

For Batman as brand it was a good thing that others got the spotlight so they can build them for other media in the future, for the show itself it made no real difference to it's success or lack of unless you mean would you haved liked to see the usual suspects of Joker, Catwoman etc for your own enjoyment.

There's a street kid in the final issue that steals Batman's belt and tries to pry it open with a knife. He had Jason's hair-style, wore red and green, and showed some agility and acrobatics.

I initially thought it would just be a nod to him, but the show's comic did introduce characters that would be in the show later, so that made me curious if Jason was going to be in the show's second season.
