Any word if she is going to do anything to work on her physique for the role?

LOL, she has been working on her physique, and is much more toned than model thin, than she was before. I'm sure with Justice League filming right after the Man of Steel Sequel, she may become even more so.

She look good enough to play Wondie, but that's really a detail... what will define if Diana is a good character or not is mainly outside Gadot's control.

You're absolutely correct here, but how she looks goes a long way to help making her believable as Wonder Woman.

When the initial announcement was made I had an inner groan and a rather un-chivalrous thought "Great, for the male fans this!"

When you say "Great, for the males fans", what do you exactly mean?

Lynda Carter toned up as she played Wonder Woman. At least by 70's standards. I'm sure Gal will also boast a trainer-toned body when the sequel debuts.

Default So, no flight for Wonder Woman in the upcoming film

In the snippets of this Gal Gadot interview, she essentially reveals that the movie Diana won't be able to fly when she says this:

"She has unbelievable endurance. She is exceptionally strong. She can jump really high and practically fly. She know tons of martial arts styles. She is a strong and serious Woman."

"practically" isn't flying, and frankly, I'm glad she won't be able to fly. I wonder if the film'll include the invisible jet?

It's possible Gal's just playing coy.

She could be under an NDA, where she can't reveal too much about the film. It's also possible that, even if she doesn't fly in this movie, she could develop flight in her own movie or the JL movie.

I, for one, want her flying. I will settle for super jumping (and by "super," I mean "SUPER") and/or "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon"-style semi-flight. And I don't want to see the jet at all. Godlike power or GTFO.
Though much is taken, much abides; and though
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are,
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

I hope so, flying doesn't work well with Wonder Woman.

Boooo, I like flying Wonder Woman, oh well, I can deal with that I guess.

Hey, maybe this means the return of the Invisible Jet! Though I won't hold my breath, it'd be nice. I know the Invisible Jet topic is pretty divisive around these parts, but I like it.

I've always had a love hate relationship with the flying ability. I can see why people like it, but part of me thinks it was an arbitrary addition meant to mirror Superman's ability. In a way it makes her more powerful, but in another way it makes her less unique. How many flying super strong types are in the DCU anyway? Superman and his family of characters, the Shazam family. Martian Manhunter, Apollo and those are just the relatively high profile ones. Love it or hate it, the Invisible Jet is a distinctly "WonderWoman" thing.
