Love this look so much. Seems like they did a fantastic job of trying to appeal to a wide array of audiences while keeping the visual spirit of the character intact. She doesn't have underwear and doesn't look like a cock tease. But it also doesn't look like they were worried so much about people that would think they would go for something too sexy. Instead she is beautiful, but it's not a defining characteristic that is brought to the forefront. When I see this, I think badass. Can't wait for her to scrape some goons. The costume reminds me a lot of the Play Arts Kai figure that was released not too long ago:
Even better!
Man, I can't wait to see this!
As for her acting abilities? Obviously, you can't tell much from a still picture, but that look in her eyes just screams "Battle-ready warrior about to kick major ass" to me. She definitely looks like she'll be able to bring a fierceness and an intensity to the role. Now, obviously, fierceness and intensity aren't the be-all-end-all for Wonder Woman, but it's a damn good place to start.
I think Gal's going to surprise us big time.
Though much is taken, much abides; and though
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are,
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.
--Lord Alfred Tennyson--
Here's ANOTHER for ya!
Both Supes and Wonder Woman with tinted lighting removed
The filters and tint are definitely just for the aesthetic. Trying really hard for the dark and gritty look.
That has more to do with the angle of the photo than the size of her head. And also the downward angle of her head with her chin pulled closer to her chest that models and girls in general nowadays use to give this feeling that you are looking at them from above. It accentuates the jawline and eyes. But it also makes the head appear very much larger. That gives girls a cuter (essentially more childlike) look. Similarly, Disney and manga use figures with big heads and large eyes to make them cuter. On a side note, Affleck's head looks enormous. Cavill and Affleck are also quite a bit taller than her.
The still from Fast Five here has a more frontal view. Her feet are cut off. But she looks about seven heads tall midstride. And this is Da Vinci's Vitruvian Man for comparison.

Henry looks like he's aged a decade since MoS.
She looks great imo ...just the right amount of badass with sex appeal and the WW costume... I guess I could nit pick if I wanted to but am not because this is as good as anything as I ever expected for a live action WW.She looks like she could be from the comics still and there is the homage to Greek mythology that ties into her story. I am sooo happy they went with a warrior skirt. I hate the idea of pants. Now fingers crossed she can do justice to the role. Happy so far.
As much as I don't like that she's carrying a sword in the movie, at least this means they probably aren't using the 7-Eleven bracelets.

I love the outift for Wonder Woman I think it looks amazing and alot better than i was expecting it to be. Im glad that it looks as if she has some weight to her because that was a concern for me. Im excited to see the movie now and to see her in action, lets hope she does the role justice.
