If she was someone like Xena who doesn't have super strength, sure, but magical superheroes don't need to have the bulk you want. As long as she is in Lynda Carter territory, the vast, vast, vast majority of movie goers are not going to have a problem with her look, IMO.

If she was someone like Xena who doesn't have super strength, sure, but magical superheroes don't need to have the bulk you want. As long as she is in Lynda Carter territory, the vast, vast, vast majority of movie goers are not going to have a problem with her look, IMO.

The majority of movie goers is not my concern. I'm not buying magic heroes don't need to be built. Captain Marvel and Black Adam are powered by magic and they are bulk. The Rock been cast as Black Adam and he's a wall of muscle. Wanting Gadot to bulk up for the role is not unreasonable. She don't need to be a bodybuilder. I would be fine if she got to level of Linda Hamilton in Terminator 2.

She is physically bigger than Linda Hamilton in Terminator 2. I think you need to go back and rewatch it. Linda was toned as all hell, but Gal is clearly physically bigger.

Right, yet none of them have remotely the mass needed to do any of the things they will do on screen without the aid of magic, meta genes, or an alien physiology. Again, I respect your wishes regarding Wonder Woman (I personally like the Ms. Fitness look myself), I believe you're in a small minority here.

Male superheroes are drawn big because guys like the look. Superheroines, OTOH, are not drawn usually with massive muscles for the same reason. It certainly explains the physiques of Kal-El and Kara Zor-El.

One problem Marston had written than even though Diana was strong she was still not built she looked normal. She was tall but she wasn't built. It was establish she was not to be built. She was suppose to look the way she does.
