When I heard them say her name on TMZ I was like "Awesome". All the guys were more focused on how hot she is versus her hand up her crack.

I just wish they had chosen someone with a more normal physique versus the ultrathin/slender physique that Gal is. Like what has been said before, someone with a physique similar to Jessica Biel. After all, were there not many people that have posted here and the previous board on the same thread saying they wanted a 'modern' Wonder Woman? I know there were a few that said that had we had a choice of a 20'ish year old Lynda (I know, impossible, but just hypothetically speaking) and someone else, they wouldn't want Lynda since she is from a past era and we have moved on from there. So my conclusion was that we wanted a more buff/athletic actress playing the part. I have no problem with a buff women but I still think that Hollywood does. That is why I think that after 5 or more months of training, this is as big as Gal is going to get. The rest of what she does is just toning up and training the various martial disciplines that she has talked about.

The next hurdle for Gal is how she looks in the suit that they design for her and the nerd outrage that will follow

Well when you're right, you're right. And your predictions about how much (or little) body mass Gal would gain has proven true. I thought she'd get bigger based on seeing the insane training regimen that Snyder put all the Kryptonians through for MOS. Would I prefer Gal be more muscular? A little bit, yeah. But she's fine, as is. Her current physique certainly doesn't disqualify her from pulling off the role. Or she could suck. Nobody can possibly know yet. As for a 20-something Lynda time-traveling to the future and playing WW in 2014, that would be my wet dream come true! I'd love to see Lynda as Diana with all the modern fx and meatier storylines, all the cheesy aspects removed. Lynda would nail it, even today.

I just googled Gal Gadot and TMZ was the first link that appeared. Btw, TMZ reported she was riding that bike in Tel Aviv this past Sunday. Could that be true? She films a Diana Prince scene on Friday then jets to Israel? Assuming she then has to fly back to Michigan this week to continue filming? I dunno. Maybe her part is so small, she'll only shoots a few days here and there. But I was hoping for a meaty supporting role with Diana Prince popping up throughout the movie before the big WW reveal at the end.

But no, her role is not a small one, as she is both Diana and Wonder Woman in this movie and Wilkinson has already dished on how important making the Wonder Woman costume was and there WILL be a moment in this movie where we will see the Trinity in all their glory as Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman. Gal is just a diligent hard worker. She films Diana, flies to Israel to do clothing company work and then flies back to Detroit to continue filming. She isn't gonna get much rest with all her engagements but she is a hard worker. On top of that she demands she do her own stunts in films so by the time these few years are up while she films this and Justice League she's gonna need some rest.

I agree that Jessica Biel's physique would have been preferable to Gadot's. However, we'll see what Hollywood movie magic can do...

So maybe we'll see very little of WW in SM/BM (perhaps only in the end like the joker card at the final scene of Begins) and more of her in JL.

Am I 100% sure.....no. But I have a feeling that this will be the case. Kind of like you or others saying that Gal is great for the role, she will buff up, she will be everything that we want her to be. Sounds like being positive for positives sake.

I just don't think that because she is part of the so-called Trinity of the DC universe doesn't mean she will get 1/3 of the screen time split amongst her, Supes and Batman. I feel that this movie is more of a setup for the eventual Justice League movie that is supposed to follow, so I wouldn't be surprised if her part was a glorified cameo, or if you like, a small but meaty role.

I think you've mistaken me with another poster. I'm positive about this, but I've not been so specific, or said she will or needs to buff up. I think she's just fine, and my positive outlook is because Wonder Woman will be in the movie. I've not qualified my feelings with an estimate of presumed screen time, or work out regimen that I can remember. My positivity is just because it's Wonder Woman, on the big screen.
