It's all over the 'Net that the 2017 Spidey movie will have a Spectacular title and found it's new director (and writer) Drew Goddard. Understandably, it's only a day or two, but then, why aren't there any articles or speculations about this on CBR?

It's still just rumor. And from Latino Review, at that.
There are a few discussions in the TV/ Movies thread, so there are plenty of places to speculate. CBR did post on this yesterday.

Excessive discussion can be premature. A Deadline report has Drew Goddard meeting with Sony, but they say that there isn't a deal (as of yesterday.)

Until it's confirmed by Marvel, don't believe the whirlwind of rumors.
Just remember, Latino Review originally claimed a Planet Hulk film was coming and that Avengers 3 would be World War Hulk.
Latino Review apparently did get plenty of leaks on Age of Ultron right, but broken clocks and all that. Remember, there was a point when El Mayimbe was all "R.I.P. Sinister Six", which is only now true because of the Marvel-Sony deal. If anything, Latino Review is only ever "right" out of sheer luck.
I'm gonna say most if not all link back to Latino Review. No one wants to miss out.
If someone's dog-walker makes up an interesting rumor about the Aunt May/Golden Oldie film, they'll post it just to be safe.
They're like psychics, in that they play the percentages. They "confirmed" Viola Davis as Amanda Waller when reputable sources were saying she was still in talks, so if/when the talks prove successful (as they usually do), LR will be able to say, "You heard it here first!"
Now they've made a few reasonable guesses about the future of Spider-Man. Drew Goddard, new triology, franchise name change. Anyone who pays attention could have come up with those, without any "sources," and now if even ONE of them is right, they'll trumpet that and say "plans changed" on the others. It's a lame trick, but sadly, it works all too often.
EDIT: And yes, every story I've seen refers back to Latino Review as the original source. No one in "comic book journalism" seems to do any actual journalism, because that's a basic heresy. Remember when Bryan Cranston as Lex Luthor was "confirmed"? That whole thing was made up by one disreputable site, and the rest of the industry ran with it because they wanted it to be true.
The point: Be more critical of what you read and where it comes from, fandom! Empires are built on complacency!

You actually summed up Latino Review pretty nicely. It's more like they're gambling on something they want to be true than actually acknowledging the possibilities of the alternatives.
And let's not forget that "Aunt May movie" was (unsurprisingly) nowhere to be found in the leaks.
